Select Scents for the Season

Apply Cologne Post Shower

Showers open your pores which helps with absorbing the fragrance. Applying a fragrance to a clean body helps to not mix your cologne with any unwanted scents allowing the fragrance to truly shine.

Moisturize Your Skin

If your skin is too dry it will not retain your fragrance as long. Using a lotion or moisturizer before can help your cologne last longer as the fragrance will stick to your hydrated skin.

Get Some Distance and Target Pulse Points

When it comes to where to spray your cologne you want to get the areas that radiate heat. Applying cologne to your pulse points allows body heat to help diffuse the fragrance notes. Hold your bottle 3 to 6 inches from the target areas such as the neck, wrist, and chest for best results.

Spray Sparingly

If you're concerned about over-applying, start off with lightly spraying a few target areas. Some people run hotter than others and your body heat might have your fragrance fade faster. If after a while you find the scent fading reapply. This is where travel size fragrances come in handy as they allow for re-application on the go.
